Kyle's illustrious career started while he was working on a grounds crew. He knew from the start, that turf grass wasn't just a summer job, it was a way of life. He decided that Oklahoma State would lead his education and direct his passion to fulfill the eventual dream of being a Golf Course Superintendent.

 

His desire to always work at a "ranked" property speaks to his personality, always driving to be the best. Even while completing his summer internships, Kyle's "ranked" goal landed him at the prestigious clubs of Spring Creek Ranch and Karsten Creek. Shortly after graduation, he was awarded a role that is highly sought after at the Muirfield Village Golf Club as an Assistant-in-Training. He would also go on to become the Spray Technician/Safety Coordinator helping play host to some of the worlds' best golfers. His continued appetite for excellence propelled him to work at top clubs and work with some of the industry's finest designers. He spent a season at Carlton Woods as an Assistant (2010-2011) and 3 seasons at Crooked Stick as a Senior Assistant (2011-2014), before landing the ultimate goal of Golf Course Superintendent at Victoria National Golf Club (#43) in 2014.

 

Over the course of his auspicious career, Kyle has developed relationships industry-wide and excelled professionally and personally. It's through his relationships at Karsten Creek as an intern, Muirfield Village as a Spray Tech, Crooked Stick as an Assistant, or one of many tournaments he volunteered for, Kyle has been able to fast-track his success. While having an end goal in mind, Kyle motivated his determination to work/volunteer at 11 different clubs for a number of professional and collegiate events. It is here that he has been able to fine tune his leadership skills and networking capabilities. His turfgrass field knowledge and professional demeanor would not be possible without these events and the multiple people that he calls "mentor". 

 

Most of all, Kyle particularly chooses to thank his wife and family for his ability to succeed at such a high level. Without their support to a fast-moving, hard-working career path, Kyle knows he wouldn't be where he is today.
