Director of Agronomy || Class A GCS

OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY
2005
Achieving a Bachelor's Degree in Turf grass management was very important to me. However, I also wanted to make sure that I was directly utilizing what I was learning in the classroom. There are a few critical activities to participate in as a turf student. The Turf Club (also known as the GCSAA Student chapter) was the most essential for me in order to start the networking process before I even graduated. In my sophomore and junior years, I was treasurer and I was president in my senior year. In order to make sure I was harnessing my classroom education, I was working 30-40 hours/week. But, college wasn't just all work.
While studying and working, I had the tremendous opportunity of meeting my wife. Sarah has essentially grown with me for my entire professional career. The following quote could not summarize my wife any better. "A man with dreams needs a woman with vision." She has consistently been my rock for the last decade, and for that, I'm very grateful!
